I lived here 3 years. Moved in when Trammel Crowe owned and it was Alexan- immaculate place. It was kept up very well and lots of young professional people lived there. Fogleman bought it and it turned into the ghetto! Disgusting conditions, rude staff, NO PARKING anywhere,and they let anyone and everyone move in- including SECTION 8. The breezeways have imbedded dog crap, trash- it's like a very dirty dorm.The workout room should have been shut down by the health department and all the equipment is filthy and usually broken. I would advise anyone considering moving in here to re-think, unless you want to live in filth! Also, they will try to charge you for anything and everything! Watch out

first of all, the parking started out badly when the company who built it didn't plan parking correctly. second, every apartment community in Memphis is obligated to accept section 8 and I bet they have better manners than you do, moron.

you're a very mean person obviously. a ghetto? you obviously have never been to a ghetto and you must be perfect yourself.. how about you move out, if you still live at the madison. sounds like you're the problem. they probably charge you for everything because you're annoying.you suck.

I totally agree with this person's comments. I lived there from 2002-present and the place has gone down ever since it was changed over. They have really let the complex fall apart. Nothing is ever done around there to make things looks better...no painting, no trimming, no seeding, no cleaning of the breezeways, no replacing of the light bulbs in the breezeways. Criton living there was a horrible mess...fire alarms 2-3 times a week at all hours of the night...thankfully, they got them out, but please start fixing up the place....we pay good money to live there!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ghetto- no; but Madison/previously Alexan- has definately fallen to a rude staff and a less than par apartment complex. I also lived here when Alexan had ownership and everything has gone to the dumps. I plan to move at the end of my lease in two months. Also- if your currently a resident- I highly recommend checking your a/c unit because myself and nieghboors have seen mold in their's due to lack of matinance from staff. NOTE: this is very dangerous and can be deadly!
