I lived at The Madisons for a year and I truly loved living there. It was very peaceful (even by it being next to I-40). I lived in the very back of the community and never experienced any noisy college students. There was an issue with parking, if you didn't get home by a certain time then finding somewhere to park was hard, but I never had to park a long way from my building just on the side. The only issue I had one night I came home late from church and there was a suspicious guy walking in the parking lot (it was odd b/c no one really walked the community this late at night) I watched him and he then approached my car I drove off and called the police from my cellphone. There were 2 police cars there within minutes I pointed the guy out to them and one apprehended him and the other officer walked me upstairs to my apt (on the 4th floor). I had a leak in my bathroom sink and maintence came very timely to replace it. I had no other incidents there and if it weren't for the fact that I'm getting married and moved into a house. I probably would've renewed my lease (well if all the construction wasn't going on out there now). Other than that I would recommend this as a place to live.
