Beware the woes of signing up

I came in one day roughly a month ago to look at a few apartments here. I was shown one apartment which I did not like. The salesman said he'd call me back within 3 days and tell me some more news. Never called back. I came in again and apparently they had lost my application so I had to go through filling out another one. They said once again they'd call me back within 3 days-no luck. I tried calling them at various stages that week and the next... no answer. I went in again and they told me about (didnt show me) a townhouse that was becoming available. They said they'd go ahead and reserve it for me and I could bring in my deposit the following monday (it was friday). I called monday to tell them I was coming by and they said they had already rented the apartment to someone else!!!
This place sucks, it's a big trap... it looks good on the surface but the absolutely incompetent management lowers my estimation of this complex by a huge amount.
This place is pretty and you seem to get good square feet for the money (minus the HUUUUGE cost for utilities- this place claims 150-250/month average for the square footage I wanted, which was over 100$ more than ANY of the other 8 places I had looked in the area.
Watch out, bad mgmt and bad utility cost... i'm already depressed about the place and i hadnt even rented!!
