When I moved in March 07 the manager told us that there would be 2 open pools within the week, a workout gym with a big plasma screen TV, tennis courts, 2 physical trainers, 2 tanning beds and a safe security program where real cops patrol the area. Well the pools didn't open until the middle of June and 1 pool never opened at all. The pool had tons of hair in it. There is no pool attendant or lifeguard and even though children a supposed to be accompanied by a parent there are kids running around, jumping and doing flips into a 4 foot deep pool where someone could break their neck. The kids jump on top of each other and other swimmers to make for an unpleasant swim. When the manager was told about the kids, she said that she could yell at them but they would just continue when she turned her back. NO WAY they should call the parents and write them up. If the parents know they will be evicted, they might pay a little more attention to their kids. Next the gym contains 2 stationary bikes, 2 treadmills and a step master. Not much of a gym especially when neither of the bikes work and one of the treadmills makes a loud screeching noise. The big screen TV is a tiny OLD OLD OLD TV that doesn't have cable so only 2 channels come in. The 2 tanning beds is really 1 tanning bed that doesn't work. And a neighbor of mine got held at gunpoint to be robbed. The tennis courts did not have nets until around the same time the pool opened. My air conditioner broke one night at 2am on a weekend when it was 110 outside. I called the emergency number for someone to come fix it and no one showed up. After getting no sleep, I called the following day to the manager and was told someone would be right over. When the maintenance guy showed up, he said that he got my message but chose not to come. He didn't even try to lie to the fact that he was just lazy and didn't care about his job. My ceiling is very thin so when my upstairs neighbors walk it sounds like elephants jumping up and down. I am worried that one day they will fall through the ceiling onto me or something valuable of mine. There is trash thrown everywhere. We were told that we got a band new hard wood floor but it is that fake rubber wood looking material that can be pulled up. When moved in there were dishes and baby bottle from the previous resident and trash on the porch. I would not recommend this place to live unless who like being lied to. Leaving the second my lease is up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
