The Rivermark is an interesting apartment building with friendly, diverse, residents. On the positive side, the pool is nice, the tennis courts clean and rarely used, the rent is reasonable and a great location. You can walk out of the building to Tom Lee Park and the Riverwalk. All of my guests have been impressed with the apartment and the building. There is a nice dry cleaning service in the lobby. The lobby is always staffed with a security person at night.

On the negative, the fitness center equipment dates back to the 1970's and is in poor repair. The hot water comes from a central water heater somewhere in the building, so if they are working on it, cold water for everyone.

The central air is set up so that multiple apartments are heated/cooled by one unit. This means that sometimes you can smell whatever your next door neighbor is cooking for dinner coming through the air vents. Or even their cigarette smoke. That to me is the major drawback of the apartment.
