I have lived in Riverset Apartments since August 2001. I think these are probably the cheapest apartments on Mud Island--and I would consider Mud Island to be about the safest area if you are wanting to live downtown. I have always felt safe here and I have never had any break-ins; but I know that occasionally it happens to someone. Sometimes the maintence is very timely...sometimes not. I really have no serious complaints about this apartment or this area of downtown. These aren't the prettiest apartments on Mud Island but I still think they're great. As far as appliances go, they all work fine. A friend of mine lives in Walnut Hill apartments in Cordova, and ALL the dishwashers suck--they won't dry your dishes. Riverset dishwashers are great! (in case anyone was interested). Parking has never been a problem. There have been times when the neighbors have been noisy, but that just goes with living in an apartment. I would definitely recommend living here.
