Terrible management

I have to agree with the previous review (written in November). I have lived here for some years, and the building was great until it was purchased by Boston-based Northland in November 2007. Since then, the building is becoming a very difficult place to live. Between November and February 2008, I have seen:
- the very popular nightwatchman fired, leaving no on-site security
- the assistant manager employed by the previous management company both fired and evicted
- the package cabinet has been removed, leaving no way to get UPS, mail, or other packages after the (limited) office hours
- the front door entry system has been changed, leaving residents who cannot visit the office during daytime hours locked out
- worst, ONE-DAY notice of a new $100/month "short-term" lease fee for month-to-month residents who did not sign a new lease by February 23; TENNESSEE LAW REQUIRES 30 DAYS NOTICE OF CHANGES TO MONTH-TO-MONTH LEASES
I'm getting ready to move, and I've noticed a lot of vacancies recently. So far I'm not seeing life-threatening or health/safety violations, but this is not the community I moved into, and not one where I plan to spend my money.
