I am a single woman and I feel pretty safe here. Just look around when driving in and walking in the parking lot. There are breakins to cars parked in the adjacent lots but I have never had trouble in the front lot. The new management is not as good as the old but it is tolerable. The rent is very reasonable for the amenities and most other places are at least 100 dollars more. Utlities are high but other high rises in Midtown are too.
All in all this is a very nice place to live.

I agree, I wouldn't be caught in the lobby or outside after dark. There was a lady that got beaten up pretty bad in the lobby last fall. I am pretty sure it was just a mugging though.

Oh, yeah, "just a mugging." A lady getting "beaten up" isn't much of a cause for concern. Are you people really that dense? This place should be condemned... along with the management (when they are present). The heating/air situation is absurd. Everything is outdated. I would feel safer if I slept in the alley around back. Only thing keeping me from doing so is the wonderful elevators that work based on luck of the draw. Place sucks, point blank period.

I went togo and check this place out on a suggestion of a friend. I must agree that the young girl who was sitting behind the manager desk was HORRIBLE! 1. SHE WAS TOO DAMN BUSY TEXTING TO SHOW ME THE APARTMENT SO SHE HAD ONE OF THE WORKERS TO SHOW ME AFTER I WAITED 20MIN. 2. when i asked her questions about the apartment she was to busy still texting. 3rd i waited for her to finish texting and she just sat there. She told me about another apartment i should go and see that the company owned that had a park. 4th she didn't take down my information. I really did like the apartment. I love the space. i spoke to a young lady before i came in who said she didnt see any bugs but there was a funcky smell in the hallway which i felt was true. The young desk girl who was to busy texting told me that they will be changing out the carpet and wallpaper in the hall (that is all i got out of her really). Oh the nice college student (the girl i spoke with outside) told me the utilites were way to much for two bedroom. I think she said hers was 200.00 at the most. I am going to keep looking. but who knows i did like the space. but that young girl (apartment renter) needs to go she is an airhead.

the utilities are way too high. i suspect something somewhere needs upgrading and they are too cheap to do it.
