Spacious apartments, friendly staff, pretty location, and I thought since it's a gated community that it was safe. However there have been two burglaries within the past week and a number of car jackings since I have resided at this property. Yes crime is high in Memphis, especially in the downtown area. But it's particulary scary when you're not sure whether it was an inside job or an outside job. Just a heads up.

NOT SAFE. i lived here for only a month, and our apt was broken into by crowbar during broad daylight. when the door was crowbarred, there was damage to the doorframe. instead of replacing it, they painted over it. so now, one swift kick, and a four year old can get into the place. is it really a gated community if a gate is left open all day?

I have lived here for 8 and a half years and never had a problem with crime. Having said this, I have heard about crime with other residents because the property manager tells us about it in the newsletter, they are honest and don't try to cover it up. I read the newsletters, and I doubt there has ever been car jackings here, but it would not surprise me if cars have been stolen. Also, the gates are always closed now, and it is nearly impossible to follow a car in with the arm that comes down. So the security isn't perfect - in particular the police department doesn't seem to patrol here much - but this doesn't seem to be the fault of the property management, in my opinion.

I have lived here for 3 years and break-ins are a problem. In October there were 2 break-ins and across the street in November, 2 more break-ins. This gated community needs camera and security guards.
