I rented an apartment in South Bluffs for nine months during a long term work contract from the UK. I was extremely impressed with the overall quality of the apartments and also the helpfulness of the on site staff. Security was good, and the site was well lit and in a pleasant area, with the Tennessee river only a stone's throw away, and the river park is great for walking dogs. The only downside was that there is a railroad yard nearby, so you have to get used to trains sounding their horns in the distance during the night, it's not too bad once you get used to it. Note that pictures were taken in 2000 when I was resident there, they have probably since upgraded the appliance packages and re-decorated, also the rental quoted is at 2000 rates.
