THE MANAGEMENT HERE IS AWFUL. SHAREKA AND HER ASSISTANT MANAGER ARE VERY SACASTIC. YOU CAN COME IN WITH A MAINT OR PEST CONTROL PROBLEM AND THEY WILL GET SARCASTIC, MAKING YOU FEEL AS THOUGH ITS YOUR FAULT. THEY MAKE EXCUSES WHEN THE PEST CONTROL SKIP YOUR APT. THE GROUNDS ARE UNKEPT. THEY HAVE A LAWNKEEPER CUT GRASS ONCE A WEEK
HOWEVER, THEY DON'T EDGE THE LAWN, TRIM SRUBS, PLACE MULCH DOWN. SWEEP GRASS OFF SIDEWALKS WHEN THEY FINISH CUTTING GRASS. TRASH IS ALL THROUGH PARKING AREA, DIRTY DIAPERS, BEER CANS. THEY CLAIM TO HAVE SECURITY,,BUT NONE IS EVER VISIBLE.
ANTS ARE RAMPANT OVER COMPLEX!!!! LARGE ANT HILLS EVERYWHERE!!! WHEN GRASS IS CUT ANTS COME INTO YOUR APT LIKE ARMY TROOPS! IT HAS BEEN REPORTED BUT THEY ONLY TREAT THE PROBLEM IN THE APTS CLOSE TO THE OFFICE! (THESE ARE THE ONES VISIBLE TO POTENTIAL
TENANTS, CLOSE TO THE STREET). I UNDERSTAND LOW INCOME TENANTS DWELL HERE BUT THE STANDARDS SHOULD BE THE SAME. THEY CLAIM VICIOUS DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED EVEN POSTING FLYERS HOWEVER BIG PIT BULLS AND ROCKWIELLERS (SPELLED WRONG) ARE EVERYWHERE. THESE DOGS GET WALKED ALL THE TIME SO THEY AREN'T HIDING THEM. THIS PROPERTY HAS PONDS HOWEVER THE FOUNTAINS DON'T WORK..ITS A JOKE. I HAVEE BEEN TRYING TO CONTACT OWNERS, THEY NEED TO MAKE A SITE VISIT. SO I DONOT RECOMMEND. IF GOOD MANAGEMENT WAS IN PLACE, IT COULD BE NICE. JUST SO FUTURE TENANTS CAN KNOW, I HAVE NOT HAD A FALLOUT WITH ANYONE IN PARTICULAR, JUST WANT THE PUBLIC TO KNOW THAT SOME OF THESE NICE APT COMPLEX HAVE POOR MANAGEMENT. THEIR INTEREST IS GETTING 100% FULL IN THE COMPLEX. THEY DON'T TAKE CARE OF THEIR LONG TIME TENANTS THE OTHER MANAGER NAME IS MERIAM

I used to live at SouthWind Lakes apartments and totally agree with this person. I was one of the first people to move in the building I was staying in while they were still in construction. I would not recommend them to anyone and I completed my full leases I wasn't put out. I also had a issue when I decided not to renew my lease they didn't want to fix anything I needed it took them a month and they still didn't check it out till I left and the funny thing about it I knew the maitince man I asked him why it took so long for my stuff to get fixed he said they never turned a work order in for me after I went up to the office and made several request.
