The Meadows Apartments

Haven't had a good nights sleep in months From: Deb2 Date posted: 6/6/2007 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007   These are the loudest apts I have ever lived in. The ceiling has no insulation so the upstairs people sound like cows. They stay up til 2:00 everynight, vacuuning and stomping. I conplained and the ass manager brought the people to my apt. Even when I did not answer the phone she left a message and said she was coming. The man threatened me and I had to call the cops. This was intimidation so I would never complain again. She is real nice til you sign the lease then she lets you know quick you are just bothering her. This was the one and only time I ever complained. I am disabled and she said she brought themm over because I can not walk. RIGHT. If that is the case she should have waited til I answered my phone instead of coming over and beating on the door. Made me feel like I was the one doing wrong.All she wants is commission for getting lease signed. Since we have a new manager they rent to anybody. The old manager made people follow rules. Now it is kaos. They also have parties at the office that last til 1:00. They get drunk and yell and fight. I just hope I can move before someone gets shot. You can not let someone have a party and leave them unsupervised. They do everything they are not suppose to do. The rule is be out at 10:00pm and no alcohol but they stay til they get ready to go. If I pay rent and can not use the clubhouse after 10 no one should be able to. Is this a place to live or have a party' Also they take up all the parking and you have to park far far from your apt. The front of my building has a big hole in it. It has been there for some time and is only getting bigger. They never do anything to the outside of the buildings. The stairs look like geto and smell like urine. Do get fooled like I did. They won't let you see your actual apt. Just the model before you sign. Model is clean and nice. you may get stuck in the back corner. Scarey!
