I have been on every apartment rating site and it appears every apartment building have issues. I am sooo confused. Please respond and let me know where is the best place to live in Midtown or Downtown.

Drop by and check out the Renaissance..It's a 25 story highrise right on the trolley track.. If you like Beale Street and the downtown life..I think you might like it here.. Oh and the views are the best in the city.. Especially on the river side.. The residents are great too.. It also has very convenient grocery shopping RIGHT across the street..(Jack's Foods and Easy Way).. All around, downtown is a great place to call home

Yep, and make sure they take you to the third floor. You can get a good whiff of the garbage bin there. Note the lack of lighting in the garage. Ask about the number of cars that have been broken into. If you don't like being surprised by the homeless, stay away from the stair well. Be sure to ask what percentage of the highrise is section 8. That is why so may unsavory characters hang out in the lobby. Law enforcement can give you the statistics on the number and type of felonies commited in a five block radius so far this year. http://spotcrime.com/tn/memphis. Be careful. The Renaissance Mgmt. is not above posting on this site. Yep, come look. Just be sure to take the grand tour not the two bit one given by management.
