DONT TRUST ANYTHING THEY TELL YOU IN THE LEASEING OFFICE. THE MANAGER YOU WILL ONLY SEE HER ONCE WHEN YOU MOVE IN AND IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH ANYTHING IN YOUR APARTMENT OR ANYTHING OUTSIDE YOUR APARTMENT OR EVEN IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH YOUR NEIGHBORS AS FAR AS NOISE OR FIGHTING OR BUGS OR ANYTHING DEALING WITH THESE APARTMENTS IM TELLING YOU TO RUN AND DONT LOOK BACK THE SECURITY GUARDS ARE VERY DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE AND ITS THE SAME IN THE LEASING OFFICE THEY ARE VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECFUL ALSO I AM WELL EDUCATED AND I HAVE A HIGH PROFILE JOB SO I AM NOT SAYING THIS OUT OF SPITE CAUSE THEY KICKED ME OUT OR ANYTHING THEY DID NOT KICK ME OUT I STAYED THROUGH THE TERM OF MY LEASE AND THE PEOPLE IN THE OFFICE ARE FLUNKIES AND THEY OUGHT TO BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES TO LET THE MANAGER IN THE LEASING OFFICE SCREW FOLKS THAT LIVE THERE AND THEY STILL COME TO WORK WITH NO CONCIENSE WRONG IS JUST WRONG AND THESE PEOPLE SEE THE WRONG THAT IS GOING ON THERE AND CONTINUE TO WORK THERE. OH AND WHEN IT COMES TO TRYING TO CALL STERLING MANAGEMENT TO COMPLAIN GOOD LUCK IF YOU FIND A NUMBER TO CALL THEM YOU WONT GET ANYONE ON THE PHONE THIS IS THE TRUTH AGAIN IF YOU VALUE YOUR PEACE AND YOUR SAFTEY PEOPLE KICKING IN YOUR DOOR WHILE YOU ARE ASLEEP PEOPLE STEALING YOUR CAR ROBBING YOU IN THE PARKING LOT SNATCHING YOUR WIFE OR YOUR GIRLFRIENDS PURSE RUN !!! THIS IS THE GHETTO FOR ALL PEOPLE ------ OR WHITES OR HISSPANICS MY GOOD FRIEND THAT LIVED HERE WAS AN HISPANIC AND HE WAS ROBBED SEVERAL TIMES HIS BROTHER WAS BEATEN AND HIS VAN WAS BROKEN INTO TWICE YOU WILL NOT BE HAPPY HERE. ON THIS SURVEY AT THE BOTTOM THEY DONT EVEN DERSERVE 1 STAR GOD AS MY WITTNESS ALL THESE STATEMENTS ARE TRUE. ALSO THE PICTURES AT THE BOTTOM ARE PICTURES OF MOLD AND MILDEW THAT WAS IN MY APARTMENT THEY JUST CAME AND COVERED IT UP WITH OUT SCRAPING IT UP GOOD AND IT TOOK THEM 3 TO 4 WEEKS TO EVEN COME DO THAT IM TELLING YOU TO RUN!!!!!!!!! AND IF YOU LIVE THERE IN THE WINTER MAKE SURE YOU RENTERS INSURANCE CAUSE THE PIPES ARE SO OLD YOU WILL HAVE A RIVER IN YOUR HOUSE I HAD FLOODS NOT ONCE NOT TWICE BUT THREE TIMES AND THEY DIDNT EVEN WANT TO CHANGE THE CARPET THEY SENT CARPET CLEANERS TO CLEAN SOME MILDEWED CARPET AND WHEN I WENT TO THE OFFICE TO COMPLAIN THE GIRL SAID SHE WAS GOING TO LUNCH AND SHE COULD NOT TALK AND I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT TIL MONDAY AND THE MANAGER WAS GONE ON A SURPRISE TRIP OUT OF TOWN AND SHE WOULD NOT BE BACK FOR A WEEK. I typically browse this site for fun since I have so many friends & relatives in apartments. I just like to see what's going on around town. In response to the review from "CLOSEMDOWN", When I read the jumbled paragraph, I somewhat gathered that you were disgruntled. I know everyone has some sort of problem when living in an apartment; needless to say we had a flood too but it was rectified in a reasonable amount of time. Your senseless allegations appear to be personal attacks. You sound as though you have a personal vendetta with that community and if you are gone, GOOD 4 YOU! I sure hope yor "High Profile" job isn't anywhere close to where my business is handled. Your linguistical skills don't really seem to fit your high profile. If you sound anything in person like you do on this screen, I'd hide from you too! But anyway--I'm sure your have taken this whole entire thing out of perspective and you are bitter. If you stopped someone while they are at lunch>>YOUR FAULT!!! THAT'S A #1 NO NO. Secondly, if you think your great city of good abode is crime-free, then why don't you pack your bags, take some of your "high profile" pay, but a deserted island off the coast of Tahiti, build a castle with 14 feet walls(to keep out the person's whose lunch you interrupted)& put your family inside of it. Lastly, if you have any spare bucks left, check out amazon.com and order yourself a cheap dictionary/thesaurus to read so you can stay up on those "high profile skills". ..................I crack myself up...............silly renter....

YOU NEED TO MIND YOUR ON BUSINESS!!!! UNLESS YOU HAVE WALKED IN MY SHOES YOU CAN'T COMMENT ON HOW I FEEL . IF YOU READ MY REVIEW FULLY YOU WOULD HAVE SEEN THAT I PAYED MY RENT AND I STAYED TILL THE END OF MY LEASE . IT'S EASY TO SAY STUPID THINGS OVER THE NET I CAN BACK UP WHAT I SAY ON THE NET AS WELL AS IN PERSON . CAN YOU!!! AND IF YOU HAVE SUCH STRONG FEELING FOR THESE APARTMENTS YOU MUST WORK FOR THEM IN THE LEASING OFFICE OR YOU WORK FOR STERLING. I totally agree with closemdown, I still live there and had to go through the same thing for two years but thank GOD I am leaving soon. It doesnt make any sense at all. You hit the nail on the head, I had to threaten them with legal actions myself. My toilet stopped up and I was told that didn't constitute an emergency and that is the only one I have and it took them about two weeks to fix that.

I have lived here at the Summit Apartments for a year & 1/2. I LOVE the apartment & scenery around it. I have had LITTLE encounters with anyone that was anything but nice. That includes employees & residents. There has been some crime but its much safer than where I lived before!! I do wish there was still security here though. In Memphis security is nearly a must -- anywhere. The prices are reasonable also. NO I do not work for the apartment complex or have relatives or friends working here either but I have never been treated rudely in any way. The maintenance is slow sometimes but respond quickly to "emergencies". If I move from here it will NOT be because of anything but my own circumstances causing it & it will be a sad day (IF or when I ever move). I recommend these apartments fully!!!
