Don't Expect to get Mail

We have lived her for a little over 3 months. In that time, we have received other peoples mail and not received important mail. Any parcel larger than a letter is left at the Post Office because the Complex refuses to fix the parcel lockers and the post man will not bring them to our apartment. The Staff is attentive, but they just don't care about your concerns or needs. I regret moving into this apartment complex and i look forward to moving out!

Just an F.Y.I. about the mail issue: The office has been working very hard for the last 2 1/2 years to have the mailman (Lawrence) removed from this route. They provided every resident with his (delivery man's) supervisor name and email address if you had mail issues. They wrote numerous letters to the Post Master General in Washington,D.C., as well as the Tenn. State Post Master to have this issue resolved. They communicated daily with a member of the post office and were involved in many verbal altercations with postal representatives and many other ways to get the problems fixed. Apparently it takes "an act of Congress" to have a mailman replaced, but they finally did it. We currently have a new mail man that is friendly and seems to know what he's doing. However, that doesn't mean that the problems that may have started at the POST OFFICE level have been corrected. That is something that will effect every business, home and apartment in the Hickory Hill Postal area and is going to take more than an Apt. Office to correct. I also know that the reason the office no longer accepts USPS packages is NOT because the "parcel locker" is broken (they are only 4 years old), but because Lawrence had a continual habit of misplacing packages, neglecting to bring packages to the office or neglected to notify the right tenant (or any tenant) that they had a package in the office. It is the Post Office that made the decision not to have them brought to the leasing office (no matter what the people at the post office or Lawrence might have told you). The Leasing office is currently working with the post office to have that service given back to the office now that (it seems) we have a responsible mailman. Oh and by the way....Lawrence NEVER messed up the mail in the leasing OFFICE. He only messed up the RESIDENTS mail, so if the office didn't care about your concerns or needs.....why would they have bothered doing ANY OF THIS AT ALL?????????? |
