Worst Experience Ever

Years at this apartment: 1998 - 2000
I lived in these apartments from 1998 - 2000 and it was my worst experience ever in a rental. When I lived there, the roofing tiles had not been replaced in over 20 years and my living room ceiling sprang a leak every time it rained. When I reported the problem, the maintenence person merely replaced the ceiling plaster so that the next time it rained, my ceiling would again crack and leak. Noise levels were a serious problem since the apartment walls were merely plaster, permitting any and every sound to pass. During the last few months, I had a neighbor who smoked pot and blared loud music all hours of the night. I complained on several occasions, and those few times that management responded, the sound levels would go right back up within the hour. To add insult to injury, when I finally did move out, the manager who reviewed the condition of my apartment claimed at least $100 of my deposit on the pretext of a stain he found inside my refrigerator.
For anyone considering moving into these apartments, please reconsider. The quality of life costs you will incur is far greater that any savings in rent.
