The apartment "manager", Betty, sits in the office watching Soap Operas all day and I believe she actually thinks the events at Browstone Apartments is a soap opera: "Days of our Browstones". I really wonder if she has binoculars and/or the apartments tapped. She knows things she really shouldn't know about tenants unless she either watches the apartments like a hawk or listens into the inside somehow. She cusses at you, refuses to give you receipts for your rent payment, tows cars, stickers cars for fake reasons (I think she does this so you will have to come to the office and she can make a drama because she is bored), tells very personal information about other tenants to you (most likely complete and utter slander), threatens that her dog will bite you if you get to close to her desk while her ugly ugly and harmless looking dog sits ON the desk.
I've actually considered hiring a singing telegram (like a big costumed singing bear or something) to the office just to scare the ---- out of her, the ole bag. Maybe he can sing the "Days of Our Brownstone" theme song while taunting her ugly dog. I could probably pay for it with donations from EVERY tenant (excluding the maintenance man)that lives there - that's how much of a lunatic she is to EVERYBODY. Obviously she has some connection to the owners, probably family connections, otherwise no sensible property owner would keep her as a manager because of how verbally abusive she is to the tenants.

The apartments are in OK shape. They are not well insulated but for the price they meet average standards. I've had no problems with bugs whatsoever and the landlady/owners are VERY pet friendly. Small things fall apart on a moderate basis inside but I fix them myself to avoid having to deal with the insanity that is the apartment office and phone.
If you can avoid it, don't live here unless you just can't find anyone else to rent to you because you have an ANIMAL/PET. P0MtU6TIdDkM23RTonAS
