I lived at Brownstone for 2 looooooooooonnnnnnng years! The only reason I lived there was because they are so dirt cheap but you definitely get what you pay for. The complex is riddled with drug dealers and many other undesirables. Every night before I went to bed I pushed my couch in front of my door for fear of someone trying to break in. The maintenance man that was there when I first moved in turned out to be a perv with a stash of porn in the shed by the office. Of course, Betty's son, the newer "maintenance man" gave me the creeps as well. My apartment was covered in mold and crawled with roaches anytime anyone near me moved. Heaven forbid too that when you call about bugs they get a professional to spray. You can forget that. You may as well spray yourself with some Raid. There was something new each week that had to be fixed in my apartment it seemed like. Ms. Betty is obsessed with parking too. Don't even think about having a friend come over and park anywhere except by the trash cans or their car will be towed. And, if they come over more than once all hell will break loose! Long story short-do NOT move here unless you have to and if you do, drop the rent off at night to steer clear of Ms. Betty. Also, fix anything that goes wrong in your apartment yourself because if the maintenance man comes, trust me there will wind up being more wrong that in the beginning. You will also have to clean the entire place after he leaves because he always makes a mess! Don't say I did not warn you :)
