I've lived at the Brownstone for over 3 years now. I can completely understand people's complaints about this place, but it really isn't that bad. When I first moved in I had to get used to driving the speed limit (10 mph) and having my friends park only 50 feet away in the visitor spots. I have paid my rent on time from day 1. I do try to pay my rent at night to avoid Betty b/c you can get stuck listening to her drama. That isn't fun. However, if you keep your place neat, drive the speed limit, and pay your rent on time the place is great. It's in a very convenient place of town.

That's true for the most part, though I had Betty accuse me of being untrustworthy for asking for a rent receipt (for some financial aid paperwork I was filling out. From then on, she watched me like a hawk, left me nasty notes and comments, harassed my guests. Had one of my guests towed after he was there FIFTEEN MINUTES because she *said* she'd seen him there all night long. I'm truly happy you had a positive experience, but mine was beyond horrible.
