The only positive thing Campus Crossings has going for it is its location next to MTSU. The office staff are inexperience undertrained college students who have no idea what is going on in the complex. I frequently received wildly different responses to the same question from staff. Their internet service is a joke-- it always went out if a single cloud crossed the sky above the place, and at the best of times was slow or would frequently lose the signal. Safety was a big concern too - the south complex had murders occur there and the north one had car and apartment break-ins, robberies, etc occur, and management's only response was "oh hey be careful guys." I never saw security officers in the complex in the 2 years I lived there.

Maintenance was awful. They frequently did not know how to fix routine problems & would just say they'd get someone else to come fix it, which never happened. One friend of mine put in a maintenance request to fix their ceiling fan, which went unanswered for one year. They will also try to scam you by charging you for routine requests to fix the cheap fixtures in the apartment.

Worst of all, they are extremely greedy. They WILL charge you for superfluous damages after you move out. They say they will provide picture proof of all damages- yet they do not do so, which is quite suspicious. They all send out the letters regarding damages extremely late and then require you to pay all damages by a date two weeks away or have a collection agency sent after you. Coincidence' Or them trying to scare you into paying your charges and not disputing them'

In closing, do NOT live here unless you feel like being ripped off for living in a cheap apartment complex.

Yup definitely agree. Location was great but the office staff knew nothing. I too asked the office staff the same questions and they each had a different answer and when people told you information that inconvenience me they were like "oh well, srry." They also tried to charge me for things they said were fine months after I move but I happened to catch the district manager or watever she was there one day and she wiped out my charges. One reason because these so called pictures - well I never saw em. So I guess I was just supposed to take their word for it that I had damage - yea right. Don't move there unless you don't have a car. They need to learn more about their workplace.

I had the same problem. They lost or threw away my form reporting damages and when I told the staff I turned it in they basically called me a liar. Then they charged me for thing that were messed up when I moved in.
