I lived here from 1994 to 1995. I rented a 1 BR in one of the older buildings facing Tennessee Blvd. At that time, I remember my experience being a good one. It's a decent complex esp. for a student although it is in a marginal area of town (low income housing, ghettos, and stores that cater to low income people are nearby). The staff was very nice at the time too.

My only complaint is regarding the wenchy office manager that was there at that time. I had just moved to the area, didn't have a job but was close to having one, and connected with one of the leasing agents who knew my brother. He cut me a break. One day I called the office trying to get my arrangements settled and let too much information slip. I was speaking to the office manager. Well, she intervened, bumped the leasing agent, and had me put up additional money towards a deposit. After she was finished doing that, she never talked to me again when I needed something from the office. (BTW, I found a job a week later and ultimately had the deposit credited back toward rent. Whether she knew about it or not is beyond me since I talked to my original agent)
