Chelsea Place is quite possibly the worst apartment in Murfreesboro. I've lived here since October 2007 and my lease is up next month and I will be leaving this place behind running. There is practically no insulation in the apartments. You have to blast the heat or air just to keep the place warm or cool. This makes the electric bill sky rocket out of control. The apartments are just not work the amount of money you pay overall. There is a serious problem with crime in the area. Mine and all of my roommates cars have been broken in to since we moved in. One has been broken in to twice. When you try to appeal to the management they act like they could care less. Now, management is another set back for this apartment complex. Everyone in that office are the most condescending, rude people I have ever met. Whenever you go to them with a problem, they will always act like you're just an annoyance to be dealt with as quickly as possible. Don't live here. Save yourself the time and the money.

Dear anonymous-I am sorry you had a less than desirable experience at Chelsea Place. I am aware of the rash of car breaks in that occured. We and the police repeatedly ask people not to store valuable items in their cars. Unfortunately, the car vandals move in rings around the cities. It is unusual that one person would be hit twice. I would be angry as well! It sounds like they may have been a target. Who was rude to you in the office? Did you report you heating and cooling problems to maintenance. Whenever we send out surveys to the residents there, they have very good things to say about maintenance and I think they could have addressed your problem had they known about it.
