When I signed my lease with my friend they tried to screw me into a longer contract despite my telling the girl how long I wanted repeatedly to make sure there was no confusion. My friend signed a year lease, but he came to find out it was actually a 15 month lease that neither of us recall signing. You can hear everything in the rooms above and beside you, wether it is walking, laughing, or most commonly sex. After I moved out, my firend was the only one left in the apartment. It was 3 months until they gave him a roomate, so I left my stuff there with his permission. When the staff found out it was mine, they threatened to trow it out after a 30 day lockup in storage. After driving from home to settle the matter I was irate especially as they had blown off any problem I'd come to them with. When I argued my friend didn't mind my stuff being there, the manager threatened to call the cops. I'd eat my first born child rather than live there again.
