I had an old roommate who worked in the office. If it were not for that reason, I would have moved out a lot sooner.

1. You're apartment will not be anything like the model. Expect:
mismatched cabinets
appliances that are about go out
old, dirty mattresses
stained carpet (it will be cleaned right before you move-in but stains come back)
dirty bathrooms (gross)
broken couches

****Pay attention to every detail of your apartment if you do rent here. You'll have to fill out a sheet on everything's condition. Be very honese because they'll charge you for everything they can when you moveout.

2. The office only does what they can to get by. Good luck to ever have anything accomplished by them. Mgmt is horrible about taking/returning phone calls. You'll speak to the college workers a million times before getting anything finished!

3. Internet is slooowwwwww.......... Enough said.

4. Trash is everywhere around the complex. I cannot count the times my roommates and I have stepped in animal feces when coming home! Even though pets are "not allowed" people never get in trouble!

5. Outside of the buildings and in parking lots are not well lit at night. Carry mase or something to protect yourself. You will have to walk a good way to your apartment. Parking is horrible and it is first come, first serve.

6. The electronic door locks are great....except for when the batteries go out and it takes days to get a response to the work order you submit. Anyone can walk by and barely push the door and it will open.

7. Bugs are an issue. Ants run you out of your own apartment! Spiders will infest your rooms! I'm a clean person and nothing I did would keep them out!

8. If you want to feel like you are home, this is not the place. It's always loud, noisy, and lots of parties. During finals I dealt with late night parties all around me. Not a good combination!
