Looking for an apartment in Murfreesboro' Go anywhere but the Ghetto Grove (College Grove). The following is a list of reason why NOT to live at The Grove.

1. When you move in, prepare to spend the day cleaning. Your bathroom will be dirty. Carpets stained. Mattresses stained. I was told by a former employee that they use a vinegar solutions to mask the stains on their USED mattresses. Who knows what you'll be sleeping on.

2. The furniture is cheap. Our couch and entertainment center are both broken.

3. We have given up on using the washer and dryer provided in the apartment. The washer does not drain well and the dryer takes 2 to 3 cycles to completely dry our clothes.

4. Bugs will drive you crazy!!!! Ants, silverfish, and spiders are all problems!

5. The electronic keys may be safer, but how safe is it when it randomly doesn't work and then you are stuck outside at night waiting for someone to come let you in and who knows how long that will be. NOT SAFE!!!

6. The staff SUCKS! You will never have anything accomplished through them. Never. When I first moved here in August 2007, the staff was amazing. Where did they go''' =/ Now nothing gets accomplished and they are not at all friendly!

7. Trash is everywhere. Broken glass is everywhere. Dog ---- is everywhere!

8. They have been "upgrading" the internet forever. Don't plan on getting any homework completed at home if you need to get online. Most of the time it doesn't even work!

9. It is not safe. It's not well lit at night. I left my apartment to go to class one day and Murfreesboro SWAT was all over the property with their guns drawn! My friends were robbed our first week here!

10. WARNING: DO NOT expect your apartment to be ANYTHING like the model. NOTHING.

11. People do dirty things in the hot tub and it's always so dirty. Don't get in it unless you wanna catch something.

12. If it is 7pm or later, parking is a nightmare! Be prepared to park forever away from your apartment!

Wow they still are upgrading the internet? They've been doing that for two years now. College Grove is a freaking disasterous cesspool that needs to be condemned and leveled.
