This apartment complex has been dubbed "The Ghetto" by my friends and family. I live here with my fiance and two small children. I hate it here. The management is either blind or just doesn't care. Maintenance is a joke. I had a 6 inch hole leaking water in my living room ceiling and it took them 3 months to fix it. I had an electrical outlet in the kitchen that was shooting sparks and I called the emergency 24 hour maintenance number; they came to fix it 2 weeks later. There are many people who live here that are on Section 8; that means that while you may be paying 560 a month for rent, the person beside you is paying 35 a month. And it shows. The place is overrun with thrashy people of all races. There are tons of kids here, but you never see a parent. The kids are menaces and run in front of cars and bounce their toys off of windows and congregate in the parking lots till all hours of the night. they are incredibly rude. I can't even let my children ride the bus to school, because I am scared that one of the neighborhood kids will push my child in front of a car, like I saw happen a couple of months ago. Then there's the drugs. this place is RIDDLED with drug dealers. Last year, there was a drug deal that went bad in my building at 2am, and a man was stabbed in the throat. He ran through my breezeway, right past my door, spraying blood everywhere. I calle dthe next day to see if mgmt. was going to come clean the blood, since that's a BIOHAZARD, and to this day, almost half a year later, there is still blood sprays on the concrete outside my door. There has been gun shootings, knifeings and more. Every year the pool has to be drained multiple times because someone's blood or feces has to be removed.

I would have moved out sooner, but I don't have the money to go to court for breaking my lease....and they will take you to court. DO NOT SIGN A LEASE AT THIS PLACE.

Kings Crossing USED to be nice - I was living there when it was about 3 years old. Unfortunately someone else bought the place, HORRIBLE management took over, and things just got worse and worse.
