Kingwood

I have lived at Kingwood for two months now. The location is great and it's surprisingly quiet. If you have a major maintenance issue, they're on it right away; but if it's not so major, they'll never get to it. For example, my furnace wasn't working right, and the same day I told them about it, they replaced my thermostat and it was fixed. However, the day I moved in I told them about my leaking tub faucet and two months later it has still not been touched. The only major complaint I have about this complex is that the electric bills are unreasonably high. In fact, my electric bills are more than double what I was paying at my last apartment in Nashville with the same square footage and similar electric furnace, water heater, and refrigerator. Apparently, these buildings have no insulation and most of the windows and doors have large gaps where outside air passes easily through. I believe that people would live here longer if the management here cared a little more about weatherproofing the windows and doors. Otherwise, this is a very nice place to live.
