Living at Northfield Lodge was a nightmare. The only reason I moved there was because the rent was cheap. Big mistake. The apartment was a dump. The stove did not work. The sinks leaked. The downstairs windows would not raise. The air condtioning did not work. Maintenance did not attempt to repair anything. One day I came on to an awful stench. It seems that the sewer pipes in the back of my building had ruptured. Raw sewage was everywhere. I broke my lease and moved to a much nicer place the next week.
