We lived at Northfield Lodge for two years, and overall we loved it. The ladies in the office weren't too nice, and you could hear everything going on next door, but it really wasn't that bad. Everyone kept to themselves. Our apartment was very homely with almost no bugs. I would recommend it to people who aren't looking for anything fancy for a good price.
