OK, to be honest, there are sooo many problems with this place I don;t know where to begin. 1. You will have bugs. I had spiders, roaches, ants, and ladybugs. 2. The ladies in the office are in there high 40's, but still very attractive, and very bitchy. They don't care about anyone, all they like is money. 3. They will come into your apartment with a quick knock. If you don't answer, they will come in. I was in the shower once. All the other times I was naked in bed. 4. My peep hole was stolen 2 times, and was trying to charge me for it. They even accused my friends of doing it. 5. Good luck going to sleep at night with all the noise. 6. My car was vandalized when I was their, cost me over $500 to get it fixed. 7. The electricity kept going out, and I would have to go switch the circuit breaker. 8. The walls start turning yellow after a week or two of living their. Not only that, but they will havee huge cracks in it. 9. The air conditioning sucked. I was spending way over $150 a month for a unit that didn't even keep the place cool. It would be on all day and it would still be in the high 70's. I had to have a fan in every room. They also would not come replace the air conditioning, which was held together with duct tape. 10. At the time I lived at Northfield Lodge, I did see a hand gun that was intended for use. Some idiot was trying to steal out of someones car and got caught by the car owner. He ran back to the apt. and got out his hand gun. Oh, by the way, I was his next door neighbor!!! I hate this place. I also had someone break into my place and steal a bunch of movies, and my digital camera.
OVERALL!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!! TRUST ME, you hear about you get what you pay for. WELL, NO YOU DONT!!! I wouldn't pay even close to what i did.

I live at Northfield Lodge, and my experience with them has been absoulutely "Wonderful", (1)You may have spiders, but that is normal down here in the south, as far as roaches, NEVER seen one yet, the only way you would see roaches around here is if you live nasty or the person or neighbor that lives beside you is nasty, then you may have a roach problem, but that would not be their fault, but I am sure they would take care of it right away, they have pest control come every three months or more if need be, now as far as the lady bugs, Ladybugs? are they really that bothersome, I think they are beautiful, you have to have had a window open, you can have lady bugs anywhere. (2)The lady's in the office, I have spoke with them and niether one of them look like they are even close to 40, one looks like she is about early 30's maybe, and the other one looks like she may be around early or late 20's, and yes they are pretty, but have never been remotely close to bitchy to me, they always seem to treat me with the utmost respect that I have ever had office people give me. (3)Now as far as maintenance, I have had a couple of times that I have had to call them, and they stated to me that they are allowed to come in at anytime, so please if you have called them for a work order please make sure the door is shut if you are planning on taking a shower or make sure that you are aware that IF YOU DON'T ANSWER THE DOOR, they will knock again, and come in and announce themselves as "Maintenance". If you were in your bed naked and you knew you had called a work order in that day or prior, that would be your OWN FAULT!, From my experience Maintenance has only come into or over to my apartment when I called a work order in. They are also very tintative, they get there work orders done rather quickly.... Unless they have to order something and it is on back order or something, which most of the time the LADY's AT THE OFFICE are soooo nice that if they know of that, they will call you and let you know what will be taking so long. Now if that is not customer service for you, I would not know what would be?... (4) Your peep hole was stolen, you sure someone did not have it out for you and know where you live? They tried charging you for it? Do you maybe think that it might have acutally been your fault? NO, really? Then why was it that YOUR peep hole was stolen more than once. Sounds like a personal problem to me. (5) The electricity has never gone out on me unless I am using to many appliances at once, which would happen at any apartment or even HOME!!! And the property manager does not put up with loud racket here, she will give you a 30 day notice to vacate if you are called on at least 3 times, and believe me I have seen people get kicked out because they did not stop being so loud, it was disturbing the neighbors or something to that effect. Property Mgr here stands behind what she says.... So far, in my experience. The leasing consultant is really nice and she stands behind what she says so far also.... (7) the only way the walls would start turning yellow is by smoke or nicotene. YOur walls would not all of a sudden just start turning yellow that just doesn't make sense. (8)The air conditioning, here in TN down south, it gets really hot, even though these are really well insulated apartments, in the summer you would probably still need to use the ceiling fans and maybe even a revolving floor fan to keep the air circulating, that is a given especially if you have two or more floors. HEAT RISES< so it is always hotter upstairs, better to keep air circulating upstairs before the downstairs, that is anywhere, condo, house, apartment, everywhere, at least here because the temps get up to over 100 degrees sometimes. And around December is when the electric company started putting the Coal Fuel cost on our bill so the bill is anywhere from $20-50 higher than normal. (10) never seen any kind of violence and/or dealings in front of me or my kids. Plus they have LOTS of land out here where the kids can go out and play while me and my husband sit out on the patio.... Trust me, just because one person had a bad experience does not mean that you will, I have not, Come check us out for yoursefl, I don't think that you would be disappointed. They also have monthly activities planned for the community, and they also have a Friend Referral, which pays you $300.00 for a friend or aquaintance signing a 12 month lease and $150.00 for a 6 month lease. Who doesn't know some friend that is looking for a cheap apartment? And they are located in an expensive part area. THe apartments are located between Colony House Apartments and The Forest Oaks Condo's, that is expensive Living, so Northfield Lodge is Definitely worth the price for the living, amenities, and square footage....
