Where do I start' The apartments themselves are fine. They are great for the price. Mine had brand new windows. I loved the radiant heat and the heated floor in the bathrooms. Thats pretty much where the niceness of it all ends.
My neighbor has lived there for 18 years so she got priority on everything. Nevermind the fact that she banged on my door at all times of the night wanted either money or cigarettes. I never gave in. She would then curse me out calling me horrid names and whatnot. I reported it every time and Kim (the property manager) would say "well, she's been here so long and had such a hard life..." I don't care what her life story is, she harassed me constantly and it never stopped. It would end for a while and then she would go nuts again. I would report it and the same cycle would begin. The last time it happened I said since they couldn't get it under control I would call the police if it happened again. I ended up moving before she could go off. Oh and she would throw food outside (she wasn't the only tenant to do that). I had a possum gnawing on a pork chop in front of my door on several occassions.
Serious drug dealers lived next door. When I mean serious, I mean someone new parked in front of the apartment every 10-15 minutes. They even sold in the parking lot. It was crack or something white in nature. I anonymously notified the office - nothing happened. They moved out in the middle of the night and later on in the night people came by banging on their door yelling about their money. A week later new drug dealers moved in. Fun times at Poplar!
Here's the kicker of it all...I just recently got on the TN Sex Offenders Registry site an guess who's on there...''' Marty! The maintenance guy! So not only can he barely do any work because of his smoking but he's also a sex offender! He will smoke in your apartment, track dirt in and cough the whole time he does anything. Nice guy, but that doesn't cut it for me.
So I moved, never to return. I suggest you stay away. I could go on, but it wouldn't end.

i agree with you just had a drug bust there about a month a go!!!!!!!!!lol
