I'm a resident here at Raiders Ridge and have been since July of last year. The staff was really nice and let me move in early because I had to be out of my other place. I'll admit that the property has had some problems, but they are starting to get fixed. My dad works in construction management and said that alot of new places like Raiders Ridge have problems during their first year open. Its kind of a test time and takes a while to work out bugs. The internet has been improved alot, as has the rest of the property. The people who work in the office are always really nice and try to help the best they can. they are always planning things for us to do whether people show up or not. The inside of the apartments are really nice and contemporary and I would recommend this place to any one looking for somewhere to live. I would have to disagree. I have been living at Raiders Ridge since Augusg 2006, and it is horrible. First, I was without cable in my living room for a WHOLE YEAR!! All my company had to come in my room, which is ridiculous and not convenient. The staff is quick to ask for rent and late fees, but yet can NEVER do their job right. It takes months for them to even respond to a problem in the apartment. One night I key was lost, and I had no way of getting in my room, well luckly my roomamtes were here, but any who, I called the "Emergency Line" and one of the mantaninence people were supposed to unlock my room with the spair key, ..it took 3 HOURS for the guy to come. I was almost sleep on the couch...AND I had class at 9:00 in the morning, and the bastard didn't come til 3:00! Sure enough bright and early, there was a letter in my dorm with the $25.00 fee...which is --------, it should have been free for the time I had to wait! Moreover, one of my roomates was a total -----, she was moved out, BUT wihtout me or my other roomies notice, they totally moved a complete stranger I in the house, and we didn't know she was moving in until ..hell when she was moving in..bringing in her stuff!! Besides the fact the internet is damn near ALWAYS down...and for days straight!!..Like HELLO I do go to school and need to use the internet for class work. Mainteniance sucks! My microwave light has been out for MONTHS...and I reported this like i don't know 6 months ago...and STILL NO new light. It's not that safe either since there has been ample notices telling us there has been robbery after robbery, so security is a JOKE! Parking is a -----! No where to park after sun down. I'm not going to say all the office people are asses....but most are....and stuck up...and only care about that pay check they getting. Well and the fact rent continues to go up...and these apartments are too cheap for people to be paying soo much..with problems left untouched and unsolved! I applied to work in the office, but of course I guess I didn't meet the criteria, I don't think I would have survived without whoopin some ass or cussing SOMEONE out in the office..anyway. I really do wish the managment try to charge me extra costs for moving out when my lease is up in July...I AM NOT having IT! Period! They get over on people cause people let them, but hell no they are not going to get me....They messin with the wrong one! I'll take action and sue they ass if necessary..cause they have not fulfilled their part of the lease agreement! And last note...we dont even get HBO and Showtime anymore! They are too cheap to keep it....but yet have sooo much money.......
