I got on this website without knowing my one of my old roommates had also written about our awful Univeristy Gables experience.

Everything she said was correct, the roommate they stuck us with was awful and they didn't even inform us she was moving in, she just showed up one day. I had to share a bathroom with her and it was one of the most disgusting experiences I've ever had to deal with.

They sprayed for bugs at least 6-7 times to no avail and eventually I had to rewash all my clothes and keep them in 10 gallon plastic tubs to keep the bugs out.

The allowance for electric and water is unreasonable. I was there maybe only 40% of the time and my other roommates worked and had school so we rarely were home except for our awful roommate. But we even went over the water and electric before she moved in. They always had the bill wrong and the first month they didnt even bill the new roommate.

The colors are hideous pastels as well.

Parking is a awful as well. I ended up having to stay at friends house almost everynight because if I can home past 10pm there wasn't any parking and if there was it was near the clubhouse and I lived in a back building. 2 of my friends got robbed at gunpoint in the building next to me and another person on the first floor was robbed at gunpoint as well. It's kids with guns that come across the woods in the back from the neiborhood on the otherside of the woods.

For a good month or two people were getting things stolen out of their apartment many times. I'm sorry people who live in buildings 10, 11, 14, and 15

Pool and hottub is nice, except that the water in the pool was disgusting half the time and many times there were broken bottles in it.

There are like 10ft by 5ft cubby holes by each stairwell and there are bushes everywhere, perfect stalker hideout, I felt very unsafe.

Some good things were,

1) Free internet, and printing if you brought your own paper.

2)Maintenence is good.

3)Cheap.

4)Apartments are nice if you have good roommates.
