where do i begin nothing about university gables has been enjoyable. I have been living at my girlfriends house for the past year and still paying rent at the gables just because i can't stand the sight of the awful apartments. First of all whats up with the mismatched color siding did they run out of money' There is nothing good to be said about these apartments. They do not match you up with roomateslike they said they would. The staff are incompetent disrespectful college students who are working just to get free rent. They do not know how to help you if you have a problem. There are students partying and being disrespectful everynight. If there is broken glass near an apartment the entire set of apartments have to pay a fine. If you are one day late on rent there is a 75% fee. The smallest lease you can get is a year and if you breake it you have tyo pay an arm and a leg to get out. If you move from one apartment to another they will charge you a hundred dollars even if you've signed a lease. The maintnece crew barges into your apartment without you letting them in to do inspection there is absolutely no privacy. Roomates break into your room because the locks on the door are cheap along with everything else that comes with the apartments.Do not get an apartment by poolside they will charge you extra to be kept up all night by ignorant college students partying and drinking by the pool DO NOT LIVE AT THE GABLES.

I don't live at the Gables nor do I work there... But did you ever think to read the lease before you signed it?? They didn't sucker you into anything or lie to you about anything... You probably just had a bad experience and have decided to take it out on them.... By the way its a colligate Apartment so of course its going to be loud and full of parties... Hints the name College Park.... Grow up!!

Ok I want to add on to the previous response to all these comments... Make sure you read leases before you sign them, it will tell you their policy about breaking the contract and then you will know ahead of time your options. Also if you plan on staying at a College Style apartment, It will be loud no matter where you go. This is Murfreesboro, a college town. Unless you live in a house or a regular apartment with family type living arrangements, you will not have a quiet environment. Thats a big part of living in an apartment. You are obviously a college student who is just now learning the facts of the real world and apartment living. Like person said before grow up!
