I have lived here for about two and a half years. I have never had any problems while living here. When I came here with my mom to check out this apartment complex, I was impressed from the start. The office and clubhouse was beautiful and decorated very nicely, as was also the model apartment that we looked at, which actually was just like the apartment that I ended up moving into. I have only had to call maintennance a few times since I have lived here, but they have always come quickly and fixed any problems that I had. They have always been very friendly and have ALWAYS greeted me with a smile. The management has changed just a little bit since I moved in, but they have always been nice from the start. Our new property manager, Justin, is always friendly whether I'm paying rent, have some questions or just go in to pick up a package. He is so sweet and ALWAYS smiles and just makes people feel right at home. They recently have been renovating some things over the last few months. We have a new laundry room with new washers and dryers and we also have a newly renovated clubhouse with new paint, window dressings and beautiful new furniture and a new flat-screen tv, that my boyfriend has laughed and joked saying he is going to take it home :) . We also have been told that the fitness center is going to be renovated, too. It was great before, but we are really looking forward to seeing and using it when they are finished. We also have water and cable (currently Comcast) paid in our rent, which is really nice to not have to worry about those extra bills. A lot of other places I have looked at don't do this, so it is really nice to have them pay that for you every month. We received a letter a few months back saying they were thinking about switching to satelite service. I am looking forward to it because it will still be included in our rent, but I think we may have even more channels to choose from than we already do. Among other things we have offered to us... a stocked fishing pond, which we are lucky to live right next to. And also for the fishing fans, we live right across the street from the Stones River. We also have a car wash area, a swimming pool and hot tub, a big barbecue/grill/deck area next to the pool. We are also less than a half mile from I-24 and have plenty of restaurants, grocery stores and drug stores within a mile or less. We have two Super Wal-Marts here in Murfreesboro, with one of them being only about 3 miles away. The area is very nice and the apartment complex is quiet and feels very private. I know this review is probably pretty long compared to others, but I have so many wonderful things to say about Summerlake and its staff. I have talked about many things that we have here, but another one I just thought of was my boyfriend and I both have birthdays in June and this year, the entire staff sent us both a birthday card, which I thought was really sweet and I had never received anywhere else that I have lived. I have read all the reviews on here about Summerlake (both good and bad) and, to be honest, this is the best apartment I have had since I have been here in Murfreesboro (about 7 years). I highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone who is looking for a great place to live. :)
