I have loved living here for many years until new management came in about a year ago.

The head manager is some dominatrix whose name is --------, who believe me, is the typical person who has a "God Complex" because they didn't even graduate from High School but run some small Apartment complex, so they become bullies to get some status in life.

The apartments themselves are great and the location convenient but if you like living in a prison where maintenence comes into your apartment, even when not requested, then this is the place for you.

Plus, there are rodents and break ins here all the time!

This appears to be written by someone who was upset because new management came in and finally cleaned up the place and is running the operation in a fair and professional way. Some people seem to have become accustomed to living where people could get away with almost anything. I have been with Summerlake shortly before the new management arrived and have seen nothing but professionalism, equality, and the desire to improve the property from the start. I sympathize with management who have been required to "discipline" tenants who seem to have forgotten that they are RENTING an apartment from someone that owns the building, and for those tenants who have signed agreements on what they can and cannot do while living under someone else's roof, yet choose to do as they please. Rodents appear everywhere, including new buildings. They remain when conditions are such that one's apartment would be inviting to them. Finally, I have known of no breakins since I have been here. Raising 3 children, I feel extremely safe in this neighborhood.
