While some of the reviews on here suggest otherwise, this is the best apartment complex I have lived in. I don't know if there was a management change recently, but not a single staff member has ever been rude to me. The gate works just fine and so does the camera, even though it is a false sense of secruity. People can still get in without an access card. However, I have not seen the police there once. It is certainly not the getto. As far as the walls being thin, I'm sure they are it's an apartment. However, I haven't heard a peep from any of my neighboors. I guess those people who got next to a domestic violence soap opera were just unlucky. But poeple are people and I'm sure someone hears people who fight in every apartment complex. Here's a tip, if it's that bad, call the cops! As far as bugs go yes they do get in, but it's not like it's a remake of Aracniphobia. I've had bugs in every apartment and house I have lived in. They usually find a way in. I just call the office once a week and ask them to spray. They always do it and are never rude about it. Problem solved. The construction is what I would expect for an apartment. It's not top quality, but it doesn't make good business sense to build that many units top notch. If it was so expensive for all those people who complained about the apartment quality, why did they move in in the first place. It's not like they didn't get to look at the apartment before they moved in. The only problem I have is parking. There could be more of it. I love my apartment at Vintage at the Parke and don't plan on moving out any time soon.
