Wish I would have never moved here.

I was extremely disappointed with my apartment. At first I was so excited to move in here and be able to paint. The apartment seemed spacious and at a good price. Boy was I wrong. The main problem was bugs and having to deal with the management. For the first month I lived there I had roaches, spiders, rolly-pollys (not so bad until you are picking up at least 5 everyday), and beetles. They were all coming through cracks in my door! I had to ask the management to fix the door 3 times. The first time they said "Oh that's good enough" and you could still see sunlight coming through the cracks at the side and bottom! Finally on the third call they told me this might just be something they can't fix. To me that is unacceptable-Why would I move into an apartment where bugs could just walk right in' They also lie to you about the electric price. The leasing agent told me it would be about $20/month. My bill was over $50 and I did not use my clothes dryer and had my AC set on 78. The walls are also very thin. I could hear a phone conversation or tv in the apartment next to mine very clearly.
I would try and find another apartment complex and avoid living there.

Seems like nothing has changed since I lived there. Trust me it gets worse. Your electric bill is so high because the construction wasn't done properly and that was straight from the horses mouth of the maintentance men. Also the units that are cooling our apartment are way to small...which means it is working more then it needs to. Plus the air is going right out the front door while the bugs come right on in. Wait until you get your water bill and they have to adjust it every month. It is not based on your useage. It is based on the building as a whole and divided up on an average of how many people live in each apartment. YAY! Anyways...good luck, make sure when you move out you are with them when they wall your apartment...or else look forward to them charging you for everything ...right down to the drips pans. When I lived there four or five years there was a blond headed girl that worked there. She went out of her way for every resident there. There was a pregnant manage and she made Vintage at the Parke welcoming with her facial parties and functions. The assist manager was friendly, but when you needed to talk to him I was told I had to make an appointment. There was also a brown headed girl that worked there she went to the new property Cason Estates where her personality needed to be. Happy apartment shopping :)
