Over a Year Later, and this place still irritates me

It's sad, I admit, that I am even giving this place another second of my time. I still give this place the middle finger salute every time I have to drive by it. I am 1 of the "Anon" posters that put the pic of the mold along the baseboard, and I can assure that I never spilled any water behind my side table (it was not behind the bed). Be glad that I didn't post the rest of the pics of the other mold spots, bugs, nails left INSIDE my unit, and the nails left everywhere outside after the roofing project.
Behind the bed, the wall was slightly protruding and had turned a yellowish brown color. My guess, water damage. I never even thought of bringing food, water, etc. into my bedroom because the bug problem was already bad enough, even after several calls to the office and several bug sprays. In the hallway of the apartment, the hallway was really bulging out where water was leaking between the wall and the bathroom.
Carpet was crap. It needed repairs, and upon them leaving left several nails all over the floor, which I delivered to the office, and the excuse... these are not carpenter nails. I don't care what kind of nails they were, but they were left by whoever they contracted to fix the carpet. Always an excuse.
As for the mold, it was everywhere. Poorly insulated windows leads to dampness and mold. Hence the reason the roly polies were there. They like damp places.
As for the other excuse that have been offered, I broke no rules while living here. My rent was always paid on time, if not early, had a pet but paid my deposit and always picked up the pet poo, never had parties/loud noises, never left trash on patio/doorway, etc. But, it was made clear that we would never rent there again, so, upon moving out, we were charged fees that were ridiculous. We tried to dispute the charges, but were told we were just unhappy and there was nothing they "would" do, so they then turned me into collections.
I rented out of necessity, and chose this place because the people were very nice upon the moving IN process, and the apartment did have a nice feel to it, but that faded quickly. I guess you just have to live and learn. Say what you want about me, say I'm a whiner or a rule breaker, but facts are facts. Some people may love it here, but I was not one of those persons.

I AGREE ABOUT THE MOLD!! My husband is severly allergic to mold and he starting having asthma, coughing, headaches, and so on after moving into Waterford place. We told the manager before we moved in that we cannot move into their apartment unless is was mold free and had no previous water leaks. She assured us and we moved into the apartment. After two months of my husband feeling horrible, I finally decided there must be mold growing somewhere. Of course!! I found water leaks around front bay window with tiny ants everywhere! Ant migrate toward water. I noticed someone had painted over the water damaged sheet rock and then I pulled the baseboard off the wall. Millions of ant everywhere and visible water damage and MOLD.. Oh, I was so pissed, since we just moved out of a home that has mold and about Killed my husband. The manager said we could move into another apartment in their complex, but why?? Obviously this apartment complex was NOT constructed properly so I would not rent from Waterford, nor would I rent any place where this builder has constructed!

Wow! I have also had horrible mold problems too! Especialy around the bay window in living room. I was told the same thing you were told! The staff is very rude and getting things fixed are like pulling teeth around here!!! I wish I had found this website before I signed my lease here! But only 6 months left and I can't wait to get out of here!!
