I currently live here at Wardford Place and when we first moved in, the staff were always very friendly and helpful. Things were always taken care of quickly and in a timely manner. But that all changed after we had been here for a few months. They are now very slow with fixing problems and issues that occur inside our apartment. Can take longer than a week or worse they never show up at all when you call. I have noticed that here latley staff are short and snappy on the phone with you. They are bad issues with parking. One bedrooms are allowed 2 cars, I don't know about the other size bedrooms, but in our building someone who is only suppose to have 2 cars, has 6 cars and everyone of those people stay or they are friends of theirs staying there and are not on lease, in that one apartment, partying till all hours of the night. There are cars that do not run, flat tires, expired tags, in their parking lot and in lease it clearly says that it NOT ALLOWED!!! But nothing is ever done about it. It takes up our parking spaces. One van has been sitting here in the parking lot right in front of an apartment building (that happens to be directly across from office, you'd think they would notice)that has expired tags and has not moved in upwards of 6 months. Like I said above, we have a bunch of nosey college kids in our building that have 6 or more people staying in the apartment and I can always here them partying till the wee hours in the morning. I could go on for awhile but I am sure you get the picture. I will not renew my lease again nor will I refer anyone here. They care too much about outside appearence and like to con you into leasing and then they treat you like dirt. They figure they got your money and have you for a year so the heck with you. The bug problem here is bad. Poolside, I have heard so many people complaining about spiders and ants and they're so called "pest Control" is something to be desired. Everyone has the same story being told: "It's the area and region here" Well, I had lived here in Murfreesboro for 8 years and rented homes and apartments for for most of that time and I have never seen a place so infested. I mean if so many people complain you would think they would try to adress the problem instead of sending the same so called bug company out that does a half *ss job to began with. I would also like to say I have read all the other negitive reviews and I agree. Mold on windows is SOOO TRUE. Last winter I had to clean the mold off the windows every week. My dishwasher also sucks it does not clean good at all and numerous people that live here have complained and, as I have read, ------ said she tried to help one resident by going to Kroger's with them to buy something to clean their dishwasher with. WHAT!!! Shouldn't THEY do something about the dishwasher not cleaning right' But instead she expects the tenant to buy some cleaner to try. We pay high rent here and that is a landlord's responsibilty to fix appliances that don't work properly. I haven't call because it's nothing they will even attempt to fix, the problem is just very poor quality of appliances, this includes all applicances, not just dishwasher. Yes, they have double crown molding and tile entry but that is it. Tile is only in entry way, fake tile everywhere else. Cabinets and appliances are cheap builder's choice. Some units have huge garden tub that are nice but don't get too excited because the hot water heaters in the units are no where big enough and run out of water before they even get half full. Another issue is dog owners not picking up their pet waste like they are supose to. It's the law and they have signs posted throughout the property. I understand that it might be hard to watch everyone but I can sit on my balcony on any given day and watch these dog owners not picking up behind their pets. If I can see it so can they. One week ago my young son was playing on the playground and came down the slide and landed in dog do-do. I am so upset with renting at this complex and by the way the Manager, ------, is rude and short people on the phone if you have complained about something. Now on the other hand, if you keep your mouth shut and don't complain you are treated much better. But gosh fore bid you have a issue or problem you are then catorgized as a pain resident and that's when it starts. ---- is always nice on phone but rarely gets anything handled. I can't wait untill my lease is up. I will have my apartment professionally cleaned carpets and all, and take pictures the day I move out to make sure I have evidence of how I left it. I wish I would have found this site before I rented here. I have a few months left and I have already started looking for a new apartment.

My suggestion is to contact the Better Business Bureau, the TN Dept of Health, TN Dept of Consumer Affairs, anyone you can think of and complain of your problems. Nothing may come of it, but at least you can try and have these problems reported so that other consumers can beware of this horrible apartment.

I Know the feeling about the dog doo. I lived on the corner of an apartment building next to me is nothing but the apartment complex garage it seems it was too far for the dogs owner to make them go another 5 ft pass the building. They would go right outside and near my patio and I used my patio and entrance way alot. Very frustating.
Dishwasher? Ha!!! more like a waste of time. If they have the cheapest model in there it will do the cheapest job on your dishes. Still used it I had them look at mine twice cause it ran for 15 minutes and no water. Yes I ran the hot water before and during to get to go. They made some adjustments but really saw no real improvements. I use to run a cleaner thru it every other month. Mold Seems to be an issue I had it on my windows and inside where the furnance/water heater was. I had to clean the windows with a strong bleach solution every other month for them and still had problems especiallly in the caulking. I had a GARDEN tube and yes the hot water heater was not big enough for it also. I took showers most of the time so liked the "Elbow" room. I have one at my house now and yes I can take hot baths in them infact I have gotten the water to hot at times.
Parking seems to be a big issue. Listen up "Manager of this community" Have one ASSIGNED parking space for the apartment building. I had one at my last Apartment building and 99% of time it was respected by other apartments. There are many places for "Visitors" to park at (not near building) they don't need to park close where we pay HIGH rent. Yes I too was fooled by the outside appearance but already said things an that issue.
Man,It has been a year since moving out and I still am writing reviews about this place. PEOPLE LISTEN UP. I know home ownership is not for some but don't waste your time and your money when for a few dollars more you can have a nice house, land, nad a sense of pride knowing your paying to own your house. You are paying these people for their property. Pay yourself for your own property. If you need to rent an apartment temporarily do so but not from them.
