Before my review was very negative, but I have since changed my mind about this place. When I first wrote it there was a major construction project going on across the street and the noise made me very unhappy. The project has since been completed though. The best part is the location. It is great. I hate driving and try to avoid it as much as possible, and here I can walk to bars/restaurants/some stores easily. There are many bars in the area--a plus if you are someone who likes to go out--but sometimes the area outside gets noisy, particularly if Loser's is having live music. I would not suggest trying to bring a kid or something here.

The building is pretty quiet overall though, the tenants are pretty good about not being overly loud. I know someone in the building that has had problems with an upstairs neighbor playing loud music- often live. But my neighbors are good- the noise of the neighbors on the same floor is very well muffled, but if your upstairs neighbor is particularly noisy you can hear it.

The place does not rate high on aesthetics- cinder block hallways and really bad paint jobs. The old maintenance man was not very good but the new one is and he is incredibly helpful. Also management is very kind/helpful.
