The Adelicia building across the street has been finished for some time now and construction noise is no longer an issue. This is a good building. Most of the residents are graduate school students at Vanderbilt (like around 40 out of 65 units) who are courteous and quiet. The walls are thick and it's very quiet in our apartment. However there are several neighboring bars and some accompanying noise late at night/early in the morning.

I've found the managers quite pleasant and unobtrusive. I like the maintenance supervisor, Bobby, as he is quick to help and is genuinely kind. I've never had a problem with parking but there was one time this past summer where there was some kind of benefit concert at Loser's Bar and many people parked in our lot. After I parked, I noticed a towing company taking care of those cars without permits. There is parking on both sides of the building and a large lot in back that provides ample parking for residents. For an apartment in the city, parking is great.

We've not had any major maintenance problems. But the building was built in the mid 1960's of cinder block with a stucco exterior. The hallways look a bit dorm like because of the cinder block. Some of the fixtures have been updated in the apartments, some are older. Everything in our apartment is in serviceable condition. I don't have a dishwasher or washer and dryer in the apartment. In this area, you're going to spend another $250 per month for these added conveniences.

The managers live on the first floor and security does not seem to be a problem. There is no call box for entry into the building, so after-hours you have to go down to the lobby to open the door for guests.

The rooftop pool is a nice amenity.
