I moved into The Arbors as a corporate transfer so I am not familiar with exorbitant bills that others have spoken of. I am very familiar with the other issues though. Because I went through a company my dealings with any issues should have been minimal, but if I had to deal with those people in the front office on a regular basis I would've made a formal complaint to upper management or moved out. There were only two women I dealt with during the four months I was there but they had terribly sour attitudes from the first time I stepped in that office. I considered staying long term as my corporate relocation was going permanent but they were so "unhelpful" I went to a different place. As I started researching I found it isn't exactly in the best area and is right on the Davidson County line so for a bit more money you can go into Williamson County and get a friendlier attitude and cut out the riff raff so those two girls in the front office actually did me a favor. The other problem I found was that the spider problem one tenant mentioned was actually true. They were everywhere. There was a hornet problem as well. Maintenance was nice but the entire time I lived there with the exception of the first two weeks they were doing "heavy maintenance" (roofing, painting, replacements, etc.) and quite frankly that is an important point to make to a short term lease customer. I had to remind my children constantly to watch out for the roofing nails that are constantly strewn everywhere. We've at times not been able to walk down the stairs from the ceiling and roofing materials piled on top of them. Literally. I just bought tires the month I moved so I have been a bit nervous about the nails and the workers don't make any move to clean them up. Also outside stairwell lighting should be better so be aware that is a bit of a danger I noticed the first night. As it became time to swim I thought my family and I would enjoy ourselves at the pool at least and frankly it was always disgusting. Our neighbors were loud and management did nothing about quieting them down. My personal opinion is that if you are moving to Nashville and need a short term transition place this is okay but if you can afford it I would look elsewhere. If I had been paying myself I wouldn't have looked there. I didn't realize until the past month that you are really only about a mile or two from a really bad part of town. I've noticed a lot of college age children living here and I would not want my daughter living in this kind of place. Its not really a family place either so I guess all in all it has been a fairly bad apartment and I'm thrilled to be getting in a nicer place within the next couple of weeks. It is just an apartment so all in all I think management could have the bigggest impact on changing the issues I spoke of. The indsides are justs any other apartment.

I am right there with you. The person below me was released from prison less than a year and a half ago and did two five year sentences for felonies. They say they do background checks. How did this guy get in. they pick and choose who the want to give a break on the water bills and late fees and have bad attitudes about anything other than routine maintenance. i must say the maintenance people were great. They just had a very unprofessional manager that was more worried about the budget and bonuses. I had 62 brown recluse spiders in one week. I have pictures.
