Not sure if some of these reviewers even live here...

Some of these reviewers sound like they are living in a slum which definitely doesn't describe this complex. Someone said there are no amenities here - they have far more than I use: pool, small workout center, a basketball court, little playground, and tennis court. It don't much of that so what concerns me is the apartments themselves. The apartments are huge and are reasonably priced in comparison to Nashville and Bellevue. Also, my heating and cooling utilities have been very reasonable - most of my friends at other apartment complexes the same size had bills almost twice big. The apartments are in good shape and while my carpets were cleaned and my wall painted...the carpeting really should have been replaced on my first floor. The make up of the tennants is pretty varied: a lot of families, a lot of youngish people roughly aging 25-35, and a few college students.
The only two problems I have had with this complex is with noise (usually the few college students) and the randomness on how quickly maintainance issues are fixed. As another reviewer said there are a few people who have some ridiculous subwoofers in their cars which is very irritating but usually pretty brief. Also, you can hear some of your neighbors but you are not going to get away from that unless you buy a house or move into a building with cement walls.
About maintainance: you may get your request fixed within an hour, a day, it may take two weeks, or you may have to come in few times to make sure it hasn't been forgotten. The staff is very friendly but I get the impression their maintainance is a bit understaffed and during certain periods it may take awhile to get something fixed.
Overall I like living here and most of my neighbors are courteous. About bug complaints in other reviews: I have seen about 3-4 huge wood cockroaches (2 of which were already dead because they do spray in 9 months but that is what happens when you place an apartment complex on a hill in the middle of a wooded area. This place does NOT have a bug problem. I have had friends move in and they are equally happy. I have tried to include the good and the bad but there is definitely a lot more good here than bad and it is one of the nicer complexes I have lived in - and none of my past apartments were dumps.

Either you don't live here or you are management. My fiance and I moved in in Dec.2005. We had high hope and the apartment seemed nice. @ first no major problem just some toilets that never stop running, but as time went on it turned into pure hell to live here. Did you realize that this complex is section 8, we didn't @ first, but it is. It turned section 8 to help out Hurricane Katrina victims but after they left they didn't change back. there were approx.26 different people arrested who live in this complex in 2006 alone. That rate compared to all the other complexes in bellevue is only second to the Lakes of Bellevue who are twice the size of a Bellevue Heights. I've seen domestic fights and other fights in the parking lot. Loud music, arguing, people just hanging out in the parking lot. Would you let your mother live here or let your children play here. If you say yes you are a liar. Let us talk about the water bill. Do you understand that you don't get charged for a metered amount for your appartment? You do however get charged for a average for the whole appartment complex. I don't know about you but I feel 70.00 water bills are anything but reasonable, especially when you watch a busted water line pour water for three day's straight fill a rain drain and flooding the street, and how are you gonna run up a water bill that high when the cut the water off all the time. Let's also talk about the roaches. Ladies & Gentlemen these are not you run of the mill roaches these are imported Katrina Florida/Texas cockroaches. They measure 1-2 inches long and are fearless. let me say that you are lucky if you only see 2 or 3. Over all I would have to say that these appartments are nice but don't be fooled by apearance. go some where else. in closing you are delusional to give 5 for safety, try 1. Parking 3 try one and try finding a parking spot @ 11pm. Grounds how bout that playground, 2. Noise try a 2 unless you are a bass afficinado. Office staff, have you ever heard the song run a round, cause that's how it is.
