I love the layout of the apartment I am in. 2 bedroom, two story, two baths upstairs, one down. That is about all I like.

Maintenance is non-existent. When I first moved in, I reported a leaking faucet. Close to a year later... it is still leaking. They came and "fixed it" once. The funny part, it still leaks. A neighbor had a noisy bathroon fan that I could hear in my apartment. Their solution... they told the nieghbor not to turn on their fan as it bothered me.

As to the leaky faucet, the water bill is shared by the entire community. So, not only am I paying for the water my leaky faucet waste, my neighbors are too. Now we have to pay for trash service and apparently for property maintenance as well. What does my rent cover'''

As for living conditions... I cannot read without hearing the boom boom boom from the apartment next door. One night the other apartment next door had a fight so bad the cops were called in. Oh... and did I mention the gun shot'

Parking is an issue... as are the large numbers of males that congregate outside, making loud noises, etc. Oh... and the cars with the bass.

And thus far I have said nothing about apartment staff in the office. When signing my lease renewal recently, the person preparing it was talking about non work related stuff with the office manager as I waited, not working on my lease. It took him close to fill in a couple of blanks on a simple document! Yes, I said renewing the lease. Now I am regreting it even more than I thought I would. My thought was... I will most likely be moving into a house in 6 months to a year. Even if it is bad, I can hang out for that long. I am now considering very strongly breaking my lease. In simple terms... stay away!!!
