This place was a problem from the get go.
This was my very first apt. I got it because it seemed nice and the girl who showed me the place was nice.
It is ran like a ---- haven. A true concentration camp here. If you go to the pool, you have to take a pool pass with you. You are apparently not allowed to have guests. I had my boyfriend over a couple of times. I had some friends over ONCE. This is not a smashing party - just watching tv and eating dinner.
The office manager called me to her office after I had been living there only 3 months. She did not shut her door. She literally screamed at me for having my boyfriend over. She accused me of having him living there without him being on the lease. She said she had been watching my apt!!! She yelled at me in her office to the point of making me cry. In the end I did not feel comfortable there anymore and I broke the lease. They even allowed me to break it without penalty. She insulted me and said that I should live in ivy wood or some nasty complex like that.
Why' I had not done anything wrong. My rent was paid BEFORE it was due. I even took my pool pass to the pool and kept my parking sticker on my car.
They refused to return my deposit, which I was advised would be refunded and mailed to me. The apt was in perfect condition - I had only been there for a little less than 3 months. I gave up after calling and writing several times.
All in all, it seemed like a nice place. I believe there are a lot of nice people living there. But you are on 24/7 security and ---- patrol. Pool passes, parking passes, and THEY ARE WATCHING YOU!
