Luxury.....Yeah Right!

Brandywine Apartments might have been luxury back when they were first built, but by no means have they been kept up. The buildings are chipping, the landscaping is horrible, the wood is decaying, etc. The outside apperance is awful. The staff has attitudes half the time and are very dishonest. The maintence men are L-A-Z-Y! The only thing luxury about them, is the activity center. When I first looked at the apartment there was one wall that was brown. It's called an "accent" wall. I did not like it b/c all my furniture is black. I asked if it could be painted before I moved in and I was told yes. To this day the wall still remains brown. Next when I looked in the laundry room I noticed that some of the wall had been knocked out. When I inquired about it I was told that the room was not built to fit the average size washer and dryer and that is why it was knocked out and also that when I put my washer and dryer in there that it would be covered up. Okay well my washer and dryer is in there and you can still see it and on top of that I can't even close the door. I have an average size washer and dryer and it is too large for the door to close. Then I noticed that when you run water in the bathroom sinks it doesn't drain. Also in the cabinet in bathroom it isn't even real wood it has strips of wood looking paper and it isn't even glued it is just stuck up there and it falls down everytime you open the cabinet. When I first moved in the gate didn't work. It took for someone to get robbed for them to fix it, and after they did I found out that my gate key hadn't even been activated and still to this day isn't, so I have to wait for someone else to come along who's key does work, and then trail them in. But I haven't even gotten to the best part. After a week of living there the light in the laundry rooms blows. So I climb up on a chair to change the light bulb. When I just barely touch the light fixture it falls on top of my head and shatters. Hello I could have had a concussion, some glass could have went into my eyes, or anything. Bottom line is DO NOT MOVE TO BRANDYWINE!!! I repeat DO NOT MOVE THERE!!! Trust me, you will regret it.
