My wife and I have lived in Brandywine for a year, and we really haven't had any complaints. They were built in 1985. We had quite a rolly-pollys and silverfish problem when we moved in, but we sprayed for bugs and haven't seen a single one since. The covered parking is nice, but I just don't feel the area is very safe. We have seen the Mexican problem get worse and worse since we moved here last March. In another year, you better speak Spanish if you want to communicate with neighbors or ground workers.

The reason we are moving out is because of our upstairs neighbors. Until about a month ago, the lady above us was really sweet and had a normal schedule. WARNING: You can hear EVERYTHING going on above you. Our new upstairs neighbors don't have jobs and are up walking around, doing dishes, having sex, and fighting until well past 4am. We have been kept up every night since they moved in.

If you do stay at Brandywine, here is your checklist:
Kiss your deposit goodbye.
Dryers in the Laundry room suck. Only about half work, so take note of which ones steal your money. We called maintenance on the broke ones and they still never got fixed.
Prepare to have your gate key reprogrammed over and and over.
Leave your tennis rackets at home. Pet owners use the court to unleash their dogs and NEVER pick up the dog crap.
Bring some insect spray with you and spray before you move your stuff in.
Bring a Spanish dictionary and mase
Bring a fire extinguisher (our oven caught on fire per a bad element)
Learn to take quick showers. The hot water runs out in less than 5 minutes.
Never, ever move into a bottom floor apartment.

You people suck, you can only say bad things about a place that might or might not have a couple of problems. If I would not have moved into the apartment that I currently live in now because of the negative ratings. I would truly have been a fool. Yes places have problems, but if you don't think those problems should be there. Move into a house where you can spend all your money fixing every single problem till your heart is content.
