I moved to Brandywine in Sept 08. The day of my move in they gave me the wrong keys. The carpet was staind in the living room, (if they charge 1913 a carpet cleaning charge you got robbed.) The tile in the kitchen by the dishwasher was beginning to come up, the floor in the bedroom by the closet is unlevel. I took note and reported it to them the day I moved in, we will see what happens w/ that. Also on my move in day the washer cut offs were leaking so I called them to put in a workorder. It took them 2 days to respond. I've noticed the apartment above me looks like their tub is going to fall through in my living room. I reported it and noone has shown up to assess the soon to be damage and that was over a month ago. I came home today and the apartment above me had leaking pipes, my bathroom was flooded and part of my book shelf was ruined.
Im going tomorrow to plead my case w/ the office. We will see what happens, and I am not by any means a nitpicky person. I'll let a few things slide before I will say something. I pay way too much to have an apartment falling apart on top of me. I'd advise anyone who isn't a handyman themselves DO NOT MOVE IN. Although I must say my neighbors are all cool. BEWARE ALL OF YOU!! DON'T THINK IT IS SAFE BECAUSE IT IS GATED!!!
