It has been awhile, but after reading some of the other ratings in regards to Bransford House, I had to comment. This was the first apartment I lived in when I first moved to Nashville. I was a Vanderbilt student by day and working full time by night. I must say, the manager, Judy, was such a horrible person to live next to. She had a son who was going around vandalizing cars during my stay, Judy showed up at my door step accussing me of her car being scratched when I worked that night. I think she thought I was a bad person for working at night in order to attend school during the day. At any rate, she became so psychotic during my stay that she refused to have my heater fixed that winter claiming "it wasn't that cold." The situation became so bad I payed a vast amount of money to get out of my lease and to move into the Belmont neighborhood. I think I ended up paying close to a thousand dollars because I didn't have the time or energy to deal with such a psychotic manager.
I honestly have no idea how Judy remains the manager at this property, she was very psychotic, unprofessional, and just plain dangerous to live around. You never know what she will do from day to day and I was fearful of my property being damaged by her son out of vindictive behaviors.

I think she (or her family) owns the complex, actually.
